Rental Details


RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS

• To reserve a specific RV, fill out the online reservation application and submit. In addition to our online reservation system, we can provide you a fax, email or mail-in application if you prefer, or we are just a phone call away.
• A prepayment of $500 is required to reserve a RV. When you pick up your rental, the prepayment becomes your Security Deposit. The deposit will be refunded within 30 days after unit is checked and cleaned and no traffic or EZ-Pass violations are reported.
• Motorhomes and travel trailers are rented on a first come first served basis.
•RVS RENTS reserves the right to substitute an upgraded travel trailer or motorhome should the RV reserved be made un-rentable for any reason. RVS RENTS has the right to change your rental to sleep yours or other customers sleeping needs.
• With acceptance of the reservation application, you will be required to initial and sign a contract with terms and conditions.
• We do not offer same day rentals. A minimum of 48 hours is required to process all paperwork.

RENTER & DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• All drivers must be at least 25 years of age at the time of rental, and possess a valid drivers’ license. • Valid international drivers’ licenses are accepted.
• Renter must have major credit card and picture identification.
• Renter must be present at time of RV pickup.
• Renter’s identification name must match name on the credit card used to pay for rental.
• Additional drivers are allowed but must present their own insurance to cover the RV while driving. An additional $20 fee per driver applies.

RENTAL DAY

• Rental is based on number of nights the motorhome or travel trailer is used. Each night constitutes a rental day.
• Rental charges are based on rates in effect at pick-up and return dates.

DEPARTURE AND RETURN

• Departure times are between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM noon Monday thru Saturday.
• Return is 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
• We can arrange other departure or return times for an additional fee.
• There are no refunds for early returns.
• A $50/hour late fee applies to all returns.
• All pickups and returns will be at 320 Dover Road, Lugg Plaza, Chichester, NH, unless otherwise arranged.
• Delivery and pickup of the RV is available for a fee.

PAYMENTS AND SECURITY DEPOSIT

• A $500 rental prepayment is required to secure the reservation, and must be submitted with the Reservation Application. We accept Visa/MasterCard/Discover/American Express.
• Payment by check is required 2 weeks prior to departure date.
• Your security deposit of $500 is refundable when returned unit has been checked.
• Although not limited to these items, common deductions from the security deposit are: damage to the RV, additional mileage, dumping of the waste tanks, parking violations, road tolls, etc.
• Refund of the unused portion of the security deposit is made within 30 days of the return of the RV.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Reservation cancellations 31 days or more prior to departure are subject to a $250 cancellation fee.
• Reservation cancellations 30 days or less prior to departure are subject to a $500 cancellation fee.

INSURANCE

• RVS RENTS carries renters’ insurance with MBA Insurance on all our recreational vehicles.
• Call us for a quote.
• Additional $1,000,000 liability coverage is also available from MBA for $9.95/day.

RESTRICTED AREAS

• Restricted areas include:
- Mexico
- Non-public roads
- Unpaved, dirt roads and “off-road” areas
• Consult RVS RENTS for a complete list of restricted areas.
• Renter is liable for all damages to vehicle, tires, towing charges and other expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.

MAINTENANCE AND BREAKDOWN RESPONSIBILITY

•Customer is responsible for checking engine oil, fluids, and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately.
•RVS RENTS will give instructions and procedures for maintenance at time of rental.
•Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.
• In the event the vehicle is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more, through no fault of the customer, our responsibility to customer is limited to refund of daily rate or portion thereof.
•Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and appliances, cruise control, and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for repair time to these items.
• Emergency Roadside Assistance is available.
• Additionally, each renter is given the cell phone numbers of RV specialists to aid them with any questions throughout their trip.

MILEAGE

• During Peak Season, the rate is $.29 per mile

GENERATOR USE

• RV SOLUTIONS RENTS does not charge for Generator Use. We encourage our customers to use these generators as one of our Customer Service Benefits. (That's right, no charge for the generator)

CLEANING THE RV

• RVS RENTS requires all units be returned in the same condition they are taken. If the unit cannot be sent out the same day for re-scheduling due to cleaning issues, a $100 cleaning charge will be taken out of your security deposit.
• We at RV SOLUTIONS RENTS take pride in our units, and we stand on our policy of Cleanliness and Quality at an Affordable Price.

FUEL

• All of the RV’s fuel tanks are “Topped Off” before departure and we ask that you return the units in the same condition.
• A nominal refueling charge will be applied if the unit is less then full.
• No warranties are made regarding fuel tank capacity or fuel mileage.
• We assume no liability for fuel consumption rates.
• All gasoline, diesel or propane refueling during the trip is at customer’s expense.

SMOKERS OR PETS

• There is a $500 fumigation fee for rentals having evidence of being smoked in. This charge is at the sole discretion of RVS RENTS.
• We enforce a strict NO SMOKING policy.
• We at RVS RENTS do realize that our customers have comfort in bringing their pets. We carry a few units for customers who wish to bring pets.
• You are required to inform us when pets are traveling with you on your rental application.
• A $250 Pet Security Deposit is required.
• A $100 sanitation fee will be charged for all pets.

TOWING

• Towing is not permitted on most RV’s, however exceptions will be made on an individual basis. We will assess the item towed and vehicle rented.
• On rentals where towing is allowed, a nominal tow fee and per mile charge is applied.
• Towed items must be hooked up and inspected by RVS RENTS before departure.

PERSONAL CARE PACKAGES

• Personal Care Package includes: towels, face cloths, toaster, coffee maker and filters, pots and pans, cooking utensils, awning mats, floor mats, toilet paper, black tank sanitizer, bar of soap, paper products (plates, cups, napkins, mugs, flatware). The cost is $95.00 for 2 people.
• Personal Care Package (extra towels and paper products) are available for each additional person at $20.00 each.
